Trust & Will Executive Headshots

I was contacted by the team at Trust & Will to photograph their executive teams’ headshots during a company offsite in downtown San Francisco. From a creative standpoint, I went with a mix of a more composed, earnest demeanor and worked my way towards more warm, welcoming smiles. From a technical standpoint, we went with a two light setup in front of a white seamless backdrop. For the the key light I used my godox 600 strobe with a large white umbrella and diffusion that sat directly behind camera and used a white beauty dish with a diffusion sock as hair light which was placed directly behind each subject. This has been a go to light setup as it works well with just about all skin tones and face shapes and gives a slight highlight on the hair/shoulders to separate the subject from the backdrop. As for the backdrop, we went with white so that their graphic design team could easily photoshop each team member for future marketing assets. Overall, very happy with the results and so was the team at Trust & Will.
